Sungai Buloh Prison inmate dies in hospital


SUNGAI BULOH: A 37-year-old inmate from Sungai Buloh Prison died on Sunday (Oct 27).

Sungai Buloh OCPD Supt Mohd Hafiz Muhammad Nor stated that a prison warden reported the incident.

The inmate was transported to Sungai Buloh Hospital due to health complications and was pronounced dead while receiving treatment.

A post-mortem conducted on Tuesday (Oct 29) confirmed there were no criminal elements involved in the inmate's death.

The case has been classified as sudden death, although further investigation will continue.
