KUALA LUMPUR: A woman gave birth to a baby outside the Bukit Jalil Stadium where Taiwanese pop star Jay Chou is having his concert.

According to Sin Chew Daily and China Press, quoting a post on China's Xiaohongshu platform, reported that the woman suddenly had labour pain as she was waiting outside the venue on Saturday (Oct 26) evening.

In the video, it could be heard that the crowd was cheering for the mother, with some shouting that the baby had been born.

It also showed a woman being carried onto an ambulance.

Some netizens also suggested the mother to name her baby Jie Lun (Chou's Chinese name), if the newborn is a boy.

The Jay Chou concert is part of his Carnival World Tour.
