Budget 2025: AI-related education to be expanded in all research universities with RM50mil allocation, says PM


KUALA LUMPUR: Education related to artificial intelligence (AI) will be expanded in all research universities with an allocation of RM50mil, up from RM20mil this year, says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Anwar who is also Finance Minister in tabling Budget 2025 on Friday (Oct 18) said there are positive signs related to AI in this country such as the establishment of the first Faculty of Artificial Intelligence at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia within a short time.
