Missing girl found, six nabbed for kidnapping

KLANG: A 12-year-old girl has been found safe here after going missing for several days. Six people have been detained for her kidnapping.

South Klang OCPD Asst Comm Cha Hoong Fong said the victim was found at about 2.30pm on Saturday.

“CCTV recordings showed she was walking alone after getting out from a black car,” he said.

He added that based on the initial investigation, she is believed to have been kidnapped.

ACP Cha said further actionable intelligence led to several raids in Segambut Dalam, Setia Alam and Pandamaran on Saturday.

“Four men and two females, aged between 13 and 23, were detained in the raids.

“We also seized the car used by the suspects to kidnap the victim,” ACP Cha said, adding that one of the suspects has a criminal record.

ACP Cha urged those with information to contact the South Klang police headquarters at 03-3376 2222 or the nearest police station.

The victim was reported missing last Tuesday after going down to retrieve food from a car parked below her residence at a flat in Bandar Bukit Tinggi 1, Klang.
