ISKANDAR PUTERI: Police have seized 2kg of cannabis and arrested two men for distributing drugs at Jalan Pulai Perdana, here.

Iskandar Puteri OCPD Asst Comm M. Kumarasan said the suspects were arrested during an operation on Sept 23 at 1.40pm by the Iskandar Puteri Narcotics Crime Investigation Department (NCID).

“The two men, aged 23 and 42 years old, were arrested along with 2kg of cannabis worth RM6,200.

“We have also confiscated a vehicle worth RM30,000,” he said in a statement here on Tuesday (Oct 8).

ACP Kumarasan added that urine tests revealed that both suspects tested positive for THC, and the background check revealed that one of them had prior crime-related offences.

The case is being investigated under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
