Man with AK47 tattoo found dead on beach in Port Dickson

PORT DICKSON: Police have found the remains of a man with an AK47 assault rifle tattoo on the left side of his neck along a beach stretch at Teluk Kemang.

Port Dickson police chief Supt Maslan Udin said a post-mortem revealed that the man, believed to be in his 30s, drowned.

"The deceased, who was clad in a black T-shirt and black jeans, did not have any physical injuries.

"We did not find any identification documents or a mobile phone on him either," he said, adding that several people who had been fishing in the area spotted the victim's remains around 1.40pm on Tuesday (Sept 24).

Supt Mazlan said police found some cash in the deceased's trouser pocket.

He said the victim's remains were sent to Port Dickson Hospital for a post-mortem and the case has been classified as sudden death.

He urged anyone with a missing family member or information related to the case to contact Insp K. Surenthiran at 013-652 6494, the district police station at 06-646 2999, or the nearest police station to assist in the probe.
