PETALING JAYA: A total of eight people were arrested in a Bukit Aman-led operation that also saw drugs seized from several locations in the Klang Valley.

Bukit Aman Narcotics Crime Investigation Department (NCID) director Comm Datuk Khaw Kok Chin said in a statement on Sunday (Sept 1) that the first two arrested were a 23-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman.

"The suspects led the police to another condominium within the same area where three more were arrested aged between 21 and 31," he said.

"A total of 127 bottles of suspected liquid MDMA (5,570mk), 1.18g of suspected Erimin 5 pills, and two plastic packets of suspected ketamine (2.7g) were seized. All were found in the living room of the condominium unit," added Comm Khaw.

He then said that follow-up raids in Kampung Baru and Shah Alam led to the arrests of three people aged between 23 and 32 and the seizure of an additional 372 bottles of suspected MDMA totalling 2,707ml.

"In total the police seized 12,318ml of MDMA liquid meant for vapes, 1.18g of Erimin 5 pills and 2.7g of ketamine. Several tools used to process the drug laced vape liquid were also seized, worth RM125,674.

"The group's modus operandi include the use of private residences to process and store the liquid vape before distributing them for the local market using courier services.

"The NCID will continue investigations to trace remaining members of the syndicate to bring them to court to face justice," he said.
