15 believed trapped at Risda Eco Park in Perak

PETALING JAYA: At least 15 people are believed to have been trapped at Risda Eco Park, Ulu Slim River, Perak on Friday evening.

In the 6pm incident, all those trapped were unable to get out from the area and save themselves following the incident of watersurge and fallen trees.

Slim River Fire and Rescue Department spokesperson when contacted by Astro Awani said that they received an emergency call at 6.50pm, Friday (Aug 23)

According to preliminary information, the spokesperson said all the victims were camping in the area and a team of officers and firemen were deployed to the scene for rescue operations.

Rescue work is still ongoing.
