Alleged sale of banned items in health and beauty shops


SEX toys were allegedly sold openly at two health and beauty product shops in Shah Alam, Sinar Harian reported.

The daily said it found the illegal items being sold between RM129 and RM199 at two of the six health and beauty product shops after an inspection.

It spoke to lawyer Wan Azliana Wan Adnan, who said such sales are an offence under Section 292(a) of the Penal Code for distributing and selling obscene items.

This comes after similar photos depicting the open sale of sex toys going viral on social media over the past few days.

Ayu’s husband Zaquan Adha similarly shared the good news via a post on his Instagram account, expressing his excitement of welcoming the 2.3kg bundle of joy to their family on Friday.

“Welcome to the world, my son,” he wrote.

The couple tied the knot on Jan 21, 2011.
