UiTM lecturer pleads not guilty in abetting to submit RM38,000 false claims


SHAH ALAM: A Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) lecturer pleaded not guilty in the Sessions Court here today to 18 charges of conspiring to submit false salary payment claims totaling RM38,000 for research work around 2021 to 2022.

Professor Dr Hapizah Md Nawawi, 64, is accused of committing the act by colluding with a 28-year-old local woman to deceive four other individuals, in relation to the demand for payment of research assistant salaries for research work.
