Police looking for missing e-hailing driver

AMPANG: The police are looking for 33-year-old e-hailing driver Syahrul Asyraf Dahlan as he has been missing since last week.

Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Azam Ismail said a police report was lodged at about 4.17pm last Sunday (July 14) over his disappearance.

"The last time his family members managed to contact him was on July 12. He was driving a brown Proton Persona with the number plate VCE 4826," he said in a statement on Thursday (July 18).

He said the victim's family members informed the police that the last time Syahrul Asyraf stayed at the home of someone in his family was when he was in Pandan Jaya on July 3.

"According to the family, he often slept in his car since he became an e-hailing driver," he said.

ACP Mohd Azam urged those with information to come forward or contact the Ampang Jaya district police headquarters operations room at 03-42524866.
