Budget 2025 to be tabled on Oct 18, says Fahmi

PUTRAJAYA: Budget 2025 will be tabled on Oct 18, says government spokesman Fahmi Fadzil.

He said this is the date set so far and that the Dewan Rakyat meeting would start on Oct 14.

“At the Cabinet meeting, the Prime Minister has also directed us to hold engagement and dialogue sessions with stakeholders.

“It is important for us to get feedback and views from industries and stakeholders so that they will benefit from our policies and incentives that we provide as well as address the challenges they face,” he told a press conference on Friday (July 12).

Fahmi said that feedback and suggestions from stakeholders would be reviewed by the Finance Ministry to see how best it could be included in the Budget.
