Insap Economic Forum 2024 to formulate solutions into country’s economic growth


KUALA LUMPUR: The 2024 Insap Economic Forum (IEF2024) will be held on July 12 to conduct a thorough analysis of the current economic state, identify the challenges and opportunities ahead, and formulate strategic recommendations for Budget 2025.

Organised by the Institute of Strategic Analysis and Policy Research (Insap) in

collaboration with Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) and Tunku Abdul Rahman University of

Management and Technology (TAR UMT), the forum acts as an annual platform for intellectual exploration and strategic discourse on shaping the future of Malaysia's economy.

“IEF2024 is an essential platform for fostering dialogue on the future of Malaysia’s economy.

"By bringing together diverse perspectives, we aim to develop actionable insights and strategies that will contribute to a robust and resilient economic framework for our nation,” said Insap chairman Datuk Dr Pamela Yong.

The forum will bring together economists, policymakers, industry leaders, and academics to address critical economic issues and chart a course for sustainable growth and development.

Among others, the sessions will touch on topics such as tax, rising cost of living, sustainable social development, and trade and investment.

The forum will be held at the UTAR Bandar Sungai Long Campus from 8am until 5pm.
