Barisan to continue championing the people's interests, Dr Wee says ahead of Parliament meeting

PETALING JAYA: Barisan Nasional will continue to champion issues related to the country's diverse society, says MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

He said the coalition would focus on the people's interests in its efforts to develop the country.

"This morning, Barisan MPs, state assemblymen and Senators attended a special meeting at the World Trade Centre (WTC) Kuala Lumpur with Deputy Prime Minister and Barisan chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi," he said in a Facebook post on Friday (June 21).

"The second meeting of the third session of the 15th Parliament will begin on Monday (June 24) and is scheduled to conclude on July 18.

"Certainly, the representatives from Barisan will continue to champion issues related to our diverse society and strive to develop Malaysia," he added.
