KOTA KINABALU: Sabah PKR has unveiled a reshuffled leadership line-up following the appointment of Datuk Mustapha Sakmud and Peto Galim as its top two leaders a week ago.
PKR deputy information chief Razeef Rakimin said the reorganisation aims to strengthen the party’s leadership ahead of the Sabah election, which could be called between now and next year.
Razeef, who is also Sabah PKR information chief, said the three new vice-presidents are Azmi Datu Tamboyong, Raymond Ahuar and Roslan Sapar.
The others are Sazalye Donol (secretary), Thonny Chee (assistant secretary), Abdul Razak Jamil (treasurer), Mohd Amin Abdul Mem (communications director), Wendey Agong Baruh (organising secretary), Remysta Taylor (assistant organising secretary) and Milus Alu (deputy information chief).Mustapha, who is also Deputy Higher Education Minister, will double as the party’s strategy director while Peto will lead the state election committee.
Mustapha’s appointment was announced on May 26, bringing to an end a crisis that has roiled Sabah PKR under its previous chief Datuk Dr Sangkar Rasam.
