Swallowed thongs expose cheating hubby

A VETERINARIAN shared that she once treated a puppy that swallowed a pair of thongs, leading its owner to find out about her cheating husband, reported Kwong Wah Yit Poh.

Sharing her story, the vet said the incident happened during her first day on the job and that the animal was seriously ill when it arrived.

A subsequent X-ray showed an object in its stomach.

A successful surgery retrieved a woman’s thongs, but the owner said the underwear was not hers.

She called her husband in front of the vet and confronted him.

“Turns out he has been cheating on her and it was his mistress’s thongs. I feel bad for her,” she said, adding that the puppy was fine.

> When Pastor Zhang Shu Chong drove the church’s gospel car to a mall for a wash, he never expected someone would pretend to be his son and drive it away, even paying RM45 for the car wash.

Oriental Daily and China Press reported the incident, which was said to have happened at a shopping mall in Johor Bahru on Monday.

Zhang and his wife visited the mall at about 5pm, leaving the car at the mall’s car wash to be cleaned.

To their surprise, the car was missing upon their return.

According to the car wash staff, a young man who claimed to be the pastor’s “son” paid RM45 for the car wash and drove off with the car.

The staff said they were initially sceptical, but eventually allowed the young man to take the car after he made a phone call to a person claiming to be “Zhang” and verified the car’s registration plate.

Zhang said the car was bought with contributions from church members for his daily commute and gospel visits.

Concerned church members have taken to social media to help locate the stolen vehicle.

Johor Baru North OCPD Asst Comm Balveer Singh confirmed receiving the report and said the case is under investigation.
