PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong has joined Khairy Jamaluddin for the opening ceremony of the Asian Leadership Conference (ALC) 2024 in Seoul.
"Together with Khairy and my wife Jessica, we attended the conference at The Shilla Seoul," said Dr Wee in a post on his Facebook account on Wednesday (May 22).
He added that aside from Khairy and him, former deputy finance minister and former MCA vice-president Datuk Chua Tee Yong was also an invited speaker at the conference, which was joined by participants and speakers throughout the world.
Dr Wee thanked the government of South Korea for the invitation to the conference, titled "The Era of Hyper-Uncertainty: Innovative Leadership for the New Future."
The conference was officiated by South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and also attended by former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and former President of Poland Aleksander Kwasniewski.
