Man killed when bike collided with lorry in Tangkak


TANGKAK: A 46-year-old man was killed after his motorcycle collided with a lorry at KM3.8 Jalan Bekoh Belading, here.

Tangkak OCPD Supt Roslan Mohd Talib said the incident occurred on Friday (May 17) when the victim was heading towards Simpang Bekoh.

“The victim is believed to have lost control of his motorcycle after arriving at the corner, went into the opposite lane, and collided with an oncoming lorry.

“The crash caused the victim to suffer a serious injury on the head,” he said in a statement here on Saturday (May 18).

The victim was later pronounced dead while being treated at the Tangkak Hospital emergency unit.

The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road and Transport Act of 1987.
