Man dies in four-vehicle pile-up in KK

KOTA KINABALU: A man in his 60s died in a four-vehicle pile-up at Jalan Lintas here.

Kota Kinabalu OCPD Asst Comm Kasim Muda said it was believed the victim had lost control of his vehicle at 2.03pm on Monday (May 13).

The victim’s car then rammed into a four-wheel drive vehicle before crashing into a lorry, he said.

“The victim was confirmed to have died by medical officers at the scene at 2.28pm,” he said, in a statement here on Tuesday (May 14).

“The drivers of the other three vehicles did not suffer any injuries,” he added.
