KKB by-election: Five roads closed for Nomination Day on April 27

PETALING JAYA: Five roads will be closed for the Kuala Kubu Baharu by-election nominations on Saturday (April 27).

Hulu Selangor OCPD Supt Ahmad Faizal Tahrim said Jalan Merdeka, Jalan Abdul Hamid, Jalan Dato Musa Jaafar, Jalan Mat Kilau and Jalan Kamarudin will be closed from 12.01am Saturday until the nomination process is over.

“The police urge the people in Hulu Selangor to observe the road closures in lieu of the Kuala Kubu Baharu by-election nomination day to ensure smooth traffic flow,” he said in a statement on Friday (April 26).

The state seat fell vacant following the death of its incumbent Lee Kee Hiong of Pakatan Harapan on March 21.
