IPOH: The wife of helicopter crash victim Lt T. Sivasutan (inset) was transferred from Penang to Perak earlier this week to be nearer her husband, says his cousin M. Sivanesan.

He added Sivasutan and his 31-year-old wife, who is a dentist, had just got married in January.

“She was transferred to Teluk Intan and had just started work on Monday.

“Prior to that, she would travel to Lumut to be with Sivasutan every weekend,” said Sivanesan, 23, when contacted yesterday.

He said Sivasutan’s family members are heartbroken over his death.

“They still could not accept that he is gone,” he said, adding that Sivasutan is the second child of three children.

The other two are sisters.

Sivanesan said Sivasutan was a very disciplined man and he did not smoke or drink alcohol.

“If he is not at work, he will be at home and rarely goes out.

“He always received good grades when he was a student,” he added.

Sivasutan’s remains will be cremated at the Manjung Hindu Sabha Crematorium today, after a prayer session is held at his house in Taman Serdang Jaya, Sitiawan.
