KOTA KINABALU: Sabah’s drug cartel case saw the 14th suspected member of Geng Upik charged at the Sessions Court here on Friday (March 22).
Mohd Fikrie Isme, 28, was charged with being a member of an organised crime group between 2022 and Oct 12 last year under section 130v (1) of the Penal Code.
No plea was recorded as the case will be referred to the High Court this evening, together with the 13 others charged earlier.
Mohd Fikrie has been serving a three-year jail term since Dec 9 at the Simpang Renggam Behavioural Rehabilitation Centre in Johor Baru.

The first 11 suspects, including a man with a Datuk title, were charged on Jan 22.
They are Pakat Sabah Malaysia patron Datuk Maslan Sani, 41; businessman Nelson Yee Yen Chung, 46; former Tawau CID officer Insp Rahman Buriin, 44; General Operations Force member Sjn Jaisalfian Jaineh @ Zaini, 45. Mohd Fauzie Rablin, 33; Shahlan Shah Abdul Samad, 37; Mohd Faridzul Asmahadi, 31; Fazrul Bahar, 32; Alkan Abraham, 35; Mazlan Mahmud, 41; and Mahathir Jibarail, 49.
Two others – Norsyafilah Pawawoi, 28, who is serving 12 years for a drug offence, and Zulkahar Dusing, 29 – were charged on March 1.
All 14 will be brought to the Kota Kinabalu High Court at 2pm.
