KUALA LUMPUR: Tomei introduces a special collection for the Year of the Dragon, featuring carefully crafted products with cultural designs, promising a prosperous and vibrant start to the year.

The 2024 CNY Collection by Tomei features three key highlights, which are to incorporate custom-designed products tailored to mirror and blend in with the current trends; an intricately styled five-clawed golden dragon; and a collaboration across different series of collection in introducing exquisite and striking set of jewelry.

These elements enhance the auspicious vibe of the Year of the Dragon, appealing to loyal customers and extending a warm welcome to new ones.

The talented and gifted craftspeople of Tomei has creatively put together five distinct festive product series, including the “Marvelous Dragon Collection” which is inspired by the Chinese zodiac, the “Tomei Fortune Collection” featuring abacus-shaped jewelry for the Chinese New Year, the classic “Tomei Blissful Collection” symbolising blessings, “The Glorious Culture by Tomei” with profound cultural and Feng Shui elements, and the whimsical “Tomei Chomel CNY Series” embracing a playful style for the young ones.

Additionally, Tomei’s exclusive licensee for Hello Kitty Malaysia, unveils the “Hello Kitty CNY Collection” for the fans who adore the set.

The five festive collections and Hello Kitty CNY Collection were brought to light recently during the “2024 CNY Promo Tour” product launch event.

Following the introduction by Tomei Group managing director Datuk Ng Yih Pyng, these elegant collections are now available for purchase at all Tomei outlets nationwide.

Ng emphasised that 2024 marks a new fengshui year, initiating a new cycle in the Chinese sexagenary cycle. This signifies a truly auspicious and transformative period. In marking these key moments, Tomei’s festive products embrace innovation, initiating a groundbreaking collaboration across different series for the first time.

“By joining forces between ‘Tomei Fortune Collection’ and ‘Glorious Culture by Tomei,’ we have uniquely created a brand-new product that combines striking elements and features from both series.

“The first two jewelry pieces introduced are intricately-designed, carrying profound feng shui meanings, and symbolising positivity.

“What’s more, customers can obtain products from both series at a single price, offering exceptional value for money.”

Ng added: “In ancient times, the Five-Clawed Golden Dragon was reserved exclusively for the emperors. The ‘Five Claws’ represent the five directions of the earth – east, south, west, north, and center – signifying ‘under heaven, all is the king’s land.’ It marks a symbol of supreme authority.

“Today, as descendants of the dragon are recognised globally for their achievements and contributions, only the Five-Clawed Golden Dragon can truly highlight this honour.”

At the latest product launch event, Tomei also simultaneously introduced the charming 2024 Valentine’s Day product series, featuring two main collections, namely the “A Legendary True Love” and “Tomei Chomel Collection.” The line-up includes a variety of platinum and gold products for customers to choose from.
