Air Asia reinstates Penang to KK and Kuching direct flights


KOTA KINABALU: AirAsia is set to reinstate direct flights from Penang to Kota Kinabalu and Kuching starting March 31.

In a statement on Monday (Jan 29), the airline said that booking for the daily flights was now open from as low as RM119 for a one-way all-in from Kuching to Penang and from RM159 for Kota Kinabalu-Penang.

The promotional fares are available until Feb 18 for travel between Mar 31 and Nov 18.

The Airline said that in addition to travellers from Penang, the route was convenient for travellers from Peninsular Malaysia's northern states, including those in Seberang Perai, Kedah, Perlis, and Perak, to travel to Kuching and Kota Kinabalu.
