Landslide victims to be housed at TNB quarters


PUTRAJAYA: Victims of the Oct 12 landslide in Sungai Ruil, Cameron Highlands, will be placed in several government and statutory bodies’ quarters nearby by early next month.

The Orang Asli Development Department (Jakoa) said it had identified several buildings and held talks with Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) to house the victims, involving 17 Orang Asli families, there as soon as issues regarding facilities like electricity and water supply are completed.
