Five people questioned in rape threat of teen probe in Shah Alam

SHAH ALAM: Police have questioned five witnesses following a sexual harassment complaint by a Form Two student.

When contacted, Shah Alam OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said statements were recorded from the suspect and other witnesses.

"Further statement recordings will be conducted as soon as possible, seeing that many witnesses and teachers have returned to their hometowns due to the school holidays. CCTV footage at the scene has also been obtained and is currently being analysed.

"A request for the medical report (of the victim) has been made and will be obtained as soon as possible," he said.

On Dec 15, the victim, a form two student from a government school, lodged a report over the alleged harassment. Her father also posted about the incident, which led to the post being shared widely on social media.

She was allegedly threatened by another student in her year, and had been beaten by him, leading to injuries to her chest area.
