Internet users, local brands go gaga over IIUM grad in viral video

KUALA LUMPUR: A gleaming smile, a slight smirk and pure joy on the face of a fresh graduate seems to have internet users and local brands going gaga over a local model.

A short TikTok video posted by a user who goes by the name @dhafvader shows a video of him walking into his graduation hall fully fitted in his robe and walking along the road with his certificate in hand, has gone viral with millions of views and over 13,900 comments.

The user whose name is Fahd Mohd Fauzi, 23, joined in on the banter, responding to posts in the comment section of his video.

The International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) graduate has also been in the local modelling scene for a few years now having taken part in Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week (KLFW) and worked with many local brands previously.

Among the reactions online, local brands and social media users have left playful messages with their name, age and special skill set, with some hinting at a romantic interest.

RapidKL commented, "RapidKL, 25, pandai bawak tren" to which Fahd responded that he was not interested in being a "train driver".

Selangor PTPTN, meanwhile, left a cheeky reminder, commenting that they were "single, 22, and not to forget them".

Fahd replied, saying he would definitely not forget them for another 10 years, the duration of his repayment period.

FamilyMart Malaysia commented that they were 20 and great at making "tomyam oden gravy" to which Fahd replied that they were always out of oden.

Other comments complimented Fahd on his looks and how sweet the video was to watch.

He then thanked everyone for their warm wishes.
