Home Ministry drafting Bill to safeguard welfare of police retirees, former officers


KUALA LUMPUR: The Home Ministry is drafting a Bill to regulate the welfare aspects of police retirees, as well as former police officers, says Datuk Seri Dr Shamsul Anuar Nasarah (pic).

The Deputy Home Minister said the Bill is being scrutinised by the ministry’s legal officers and that engagement sessions would be held next year before it is presented to the Cabinet and subsequently for tabling in Parliament.
