Samsuri juggles between flood relief and campaigning

PETALING JAYA: Campaigning for any by-election is hard enough with candidates usually slogging 16 hours a day for 14 straight days to canvas for support.

But for Perikatan Nasional’s Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar, he has had to do it while dealing with floods all over the state as Terengganu’s Mentri Besar.As of yesterday morning, about 1,679 individuals from 462 families in Kuala Terengganu, Setiu, Kuala Nerus and Marang have had to leave their homes for relief centres.
