Bright Cow yogurt and dairy products reinforce FGV’s role in advocating the sustainable food agenda

FGV Holdings Berhad (FGV) has introduced a new product, Acerola Yogurt, under the Bright Cow brand to strengthen its position in the local dairy market.

The product launch at AEON BiG Wangsa Maju in Kuala Lumpur on Oct 7 marked the strategic partnership between FGV and AEON BiG as one of the partners and retailers for Bright Cow.

FGV Group chief executive officer Datuk Nazrul Mansor shared that Bright Cow Acerola Yogurt is produced from fresh milk sourced from FGV farms in Linggi, Negeri Sembilan.

“Through the farm-to-table approach, we offer various products such as fresh milk, creamy yogurt, fresh kefir (fermented milk drink), and UHT milk.

“This launch reinforces FGV’s initiative in redefining our role as a company advocating sustainable food and agro-product agendas for future generations.

“We are committed to playing a significant role in the country’s food security agenda by providing affordable, quality and nutritious products for all Malaysians,” he said at the launch event.

According to Nazrul, Bright Cow Acerola Yogurt is the first in Malaysia to use acerola cherry as the main ingredient – a super tropical fruit known for its vitamin C content, which is 50 to 100 times higher than that of oranges.

At the event, Bright Cow announced national cycling champion Datuk Azizulhasni Awang as the first brand ambassador for the yogurt range.

Nazrul said the collaboration with Azizulhasni will focus on empowering local talent, supporting entrepreneurship, promoting nutritious diets, and taking on social responsibilities.

“With his spirit, dedication and hard work, which make him a source of pride for the Malaysian people, we aim to convey this as a local brand.

“His commitment to maintaining health and fitness reflects our commitment to providing quality products that promote overall well-being,” Nazrul said.

Azizulhasni said that as a local dairy brand, Acerola Yogurt aligns with his vision as a local athlete.

“An active lifestyle requires me to always stay fit, and gut health plays a crucial role.

“Consuming yogurt is part of a balanced diet that helps maintain overall health, and I believe it will benefit you as well,” he said.
