KUALA LUMPUR: A company executive was fined RM3,000, in default a month in jail, by the Magistrate's Court here on Tuesday (Oct 17) for submitting a forged degree certificate in Mechanical Engineering and academic transcripts to the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) two years ago.
Magistrate Nurul Izzah Shaharuddin meted the fine on Norasri Mohd Nor, 46, who pleaded guilty to the charge.
