Penang's impressive GDP growth due to strong leadership, says Governor


GEORGE TOWN: Penang's impressive gross domestic product (GDP) growth of RM112.1bil last year is a testimony of the strong leadership provided by Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow, says Yang di-Pertua Negri Tun Ahmad Fuzi Abdul Razak.

"Penang continues to lead the way. Its existing policies have provided much-needed impetus for the economic growth with investment inflow involving 67 projects which is expected to generate 4,738 new job opportunities," he said.
