Budget 2024: RM300mil allocated for repair of roads and bridges


PETALING JAYA: RM2.8bil has been allocated for Budget 2024 to repair roads and bridges, with RM300mil for G1 to G4 contractors.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said RM100mil has been allocated to upgrade street lamps across the country and RM50mil to address accident prone-areas, among them installing smart traffic lights at Federal roads to reduce accidents.
