Rosmah claims charges against her overlapping, will not get fair trial

KUALA LUMPUR: Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor has claimed that she would not get a fair trial due to an overlap in 17 money laundering and tax evasion charges against her.

The wife of former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said this in her response filed on Sept 22 to DPP Poh Yih Tinn's affidavit-in-reply in the former’s application to cancel 12 charges of money laundering involving RM7,097,750 and five charges of failing to declare income to the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN).
