"I was home after work at about 8am and did not suspect anything when I saw the suspect leaving the house in a hurry an hour later,” the father of the two told Bernama here.

The factory worker said it was a tragic incident and felt sorry for the couple’s two sons, aged eight and 10.

"I pity the children, they are still small. They call me 'ayah' as they often come over to play at my house," he said.

Police today detained a 38-year-old man who is believed to have stabbed his 31-year-old wife to death with a knife, at their home in Jalan Padang Nyu, here. - Bernama
