ACTRESS Jasmin Hamid asked fans to pray for her recovery from surgery after she was diagnosed with uterine cancer, Berita Harian reported.
The surgery, conducted on her 50th birthday, involved the removal of a cyst that caused bleeding in her womb.
She said her health problems also led to her weight issues.
“Many commented that I was overweight, and those words hurt as they did not even ask about my health. This made me depressed. No one in this world wants to be overweight and today, I reveal why,” said Jasmin.
In May, the Lara Aishah actress was admitted to hospital after suffering a heart attack.
