JOHOR BARU: Perikatan Nasional will field businessman Zulkifli Jaafar for the Pulai parliamentary seat by-election and Dr Mohd Mazri Yahya for the Simpang Jeram state seat.

Perikatan chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin made the announcement at the coalition's Pulai by-election operations room here on Wednesday (Aug 23).

Zulkifli, 50, is from Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia while Dr Mohd Mazri, 54, is from PAS.

On Aug 19, Amanah president Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu announced that former Johor state assembly speaker Suhaizan Kaiat, 50, is set to contest the Pulai seat and Bakri Amanah deputy chief Nazri Abdul Rahma, 56, would contest the Simpang Jeram seat.
