Dr Wee witnesses swearing-in of Batu Gajah MCA leadership

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong concluded his visit to Ipoh by witnessing the swearing-in ceremony of the Batu Gajah MCA leadership.

The MCA president said Batu Gajah is the party's second-largest division with 633 delegates from 60 branches.

"Congratulations to Loh Kai Pin for successfully defending his post as Batu Gajah MCA chairman on June 11," he said in a Facebook post on Saturday (July 1).

He said despite stiff competition, division elections went smoothly.

"I hope that leaders will close ranks after the elections so that we can continue to prioritise the people's interests above all else," said Dr Wee.
