No more access to e-borang for assessment years 2012 to 2015, says LHDN

PUTRAJAYA: Access to the e-Borang for Years of Assessment (YA) 2012 to 2015 for individuals, employers, partnerships, organisations and companies which exceed seven years will no longer be available from July 1 onwards, the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN) said in a statement here on Wednesday (June 28).

LHDN said the e-Filing feature for these years would no longer be accessible due to the continuing decline in submissions of e-Borang through e-Filing.

It said this e-Filing feature was also not provided under the best practices guideline of tax administration agencies in other countries, which usually make it available for only five years.

LHDN said after July 1, submissions of returns for YA 2012 to YA 2015 could be done using the physical form, which could be downloaded at the LHDN official portal https://www.hasil.gov.my/. - Bernama
