Silica sand mining project sites meet regulations

KOTA KINABALU: Authorities in the environmental sector are monitoring silica sand mining project sites every step of the way, says the Environmental Protection Department of Sabah.

Its director Vitalis Moduying said the processing plant had started construction and that every phase of the project was being assessed.
