Environmental authorities monitoring Kudat silica mining project, says dept director

KOTA KINABALU: Environmental authorities are monitoring the silica mining project sites every step of the way, says the Environmental Protection Department of Sabah.

Its director Vitalis Moduying said the processing plant had started construction, and every phase of the project was being assessed.
