Perikatan's 'green wave' still going strong, says Tuan Ibrahim

PETALING JAYA: Perikatan Nasional's "green wave" that swept the country in the 15th General Election (GE15) is still strong, says Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man (pic).

The PAS deputy president said that preparations for the upcoming state elections in six states have already begun.

"I attended Perikatan's supreme council meeting yesterday (May 31).

"It will continue to thrive due to the strong cooperation between the Perikatan machinery at various levels," he said in a Facebook post on Thursday (June 1)

The "green wave" refers to the gains made by Perikatan in the last general election, when it won 74 seats, with PAS contributing 43 and Bersatu 31.

Selangor, Negri Sembilan, Penang, Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu will be holding their state elections soon as the six state governments did not dissolve their assemblies during GE15 last November.
