Who's your Daddy: Six held in raid on gay sex parlour in KL

KUALA LUMPUR: Six foreign men, including the caretaker called "Daddy" by the others, were detained in a raid on a massage parlour here said to offer gay sex services.

Immigration Department director-general Datuk Ruslin Jusoh said a team raided the premises at about 7.15pm on Tuesday (May 23).

"We detained six foreign men who were working as masseurs and a caretaker.

"Besides offering massages to men, the syndicate also provided gay sex services for their customers," he said in a statement on Friday (May 26).

The foreign men detained comprised five Indonesians and a Myanmar national aged between 26 and 38, he added.

"One of the Indonesian men detained was the caretaker and the workers called him 'Daddy'.

"The suspects (are being investigated for) various offences including not possessing valid travel documents, expired social visit passes and misuse of visit passes," he said.

Ruslin said the syndicate behind the parlour used the first floor of the premises for its services while the second floor was the workers' quarters.

"We believe they have been operating since last year.

"The syndicate would advertise special massage services for men on social media sites as well as WhatsApp and Telegram groups.

"Customers can contact the phone number on the advertisements and the syndicate would share sexy photos of the masseur. Customers can choose the masseur and the type of package," he said.

"'Daddy' would then provide customers with the location once they had made their selection, Ruslin added.

"The massage packages are priced between RM200 and RM300 an hour, depending on the 'services' chosen.

"The syndicate is believed to have collected almost RM650,000 from massages and unnatural sex services," he added.

The detainees had been taken to the Putrajaya Immigration depot, he said.

"We also issued notices to seven local men, who were customers, to come forward and give their statements to assist with the investigation.

"We will continue with such operations and we urge those with information to contact the department," he said.
