YONG PENG: Farmers who were badly affected by the floods that hit Johor in early March are finally “seeing green” again as their crops are now ripe for harvesting.
Yong Peng Vegetable Farmers Association chairman Cheng Tai Hoe said at least 70% of the farms under the association were destroyed as floodwaters took weeks to recede in some areas.
