Not so easy to bring down unity govt, says Mat Hasan

KUALA LUMPUR: Any attempt to bring down the current government will be difficult as the anti-party hopping law is in effect, while any MP who wants to support another party has to resign for a by-election to be held, says deputy Barisan Nasional chairman Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.

“The current government has a pretty big majority of 148,” said Mohamad, who also denied that its MPs are involved in the said plot to topple the government as alleged by certain quarters.
