Asst minister wants special festival for Sabah’s pineapple capital

KOTA KINABALU: The hilly Nabalu area, some 70km from here, and its surrounding villages are known as Sabah’s leading producers of pineapple.

Hence, Sabah Tourism, Culture and Environment Assistant Minister Datuk Joniston Bangkuai believes it would be apt to hold a Pineapple and Fruits Festival there by the end of this year.
