Kedah Ruler arrives at Madani Open House in Alor Setar


ALOR SETAR: Kedah Ruler Sultan Sallehuddin Almarhum Sultan Badlishah has arrived at the Malaysia Madani Open House organised by the federal government at the Raia Hotel here.

The Ruler arrived at about 11am on Saturday (April 29) and was welcomed by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Kedah Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor.

Several Cabinet ministers were also present to greet the Ruler, who was ushered to the main ballroom to grace the event.

Among other guests present during the event were deputy prime ministers Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, Local Government Development Minister Nga Kor Ming, Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifudin Nasution Ismail and his deputy Datuk Seri Dr Shamsul Anuar Nasarah.

Sultan Badlishah then left the event at 12.35pm accompanied by Anwar and Muhammad Sanusi.
