Panda cubs Yi Yi and Sheng Yi will be sent back to China in May, says Zoo Negara

KUALA LUMPUR: The public only has about a month-and-a-half left to see the adorable panda cubs - Yi Yi and Sheng Yi - at Zoo Negara, before the two endangered species are sent back to China in May.

Zoo Negara deputy director Rosly@Rahmat Ahmat Lana said the Chinese government has given the green light for Malaysia to return the two panda cubs after it was delayed for several years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
