Ab Rauf to 'wait and see' before deciding on disciplinary action against Rembia rep


MELAKA: State Umno chief Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh (pic) has not decided if there will be any disciplinary action taken against Datuk Muhammad Jailani Khamis.

The new Melaka Chief Minister said on Friday (March 31 that he would "wait and see" before deciding on the next course of action against teh Rembia assemblyman.

Muhammad Jailani, who held the tourism exco portfolio during former chief minister Datuk Seri Sulaiman Md Ali's tenure, had taken swipes against Ab Rauf's appointment, alleging that Sulaiman was pressured to resign.

He had also claimed that the reason cited for Sulaiman to step down was just a "smokescreen for another to come into power".
