Goldman Sachs critic to lead 1MDB task force


KUALA LUMPUR: A vocal critic of Goldman Sachs Group Inc, Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani (pic), has been appointed to chair a task force to resolve matters linked to the multi-billion-dollar 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) scandal.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim told the Dewan Rakyat on Thursday that he agreed with the criticism Johari had raised on Malaysia’s settlement deal with Goldman Sachs on 1MDB.
